Julie Holman has been active in the insurance industry for almost 30 years. Julie quickly moved up through the ranks of both personal and commercial lines early in her career to Chief Operating Officer of a 100 person brokerage operation where she worked to execute corporate strategy around broker operations. With CPG, she has now moved into a client advisor role where she advocates solutions and analyzes issues around business strategy and its relationship to insurance coverages.

Julie has completed her insurance associateship courses and received the appropriate designation, enabling her to continue to bring unique approaches to insurance related problems and issues. She specializes in maintaining and monitoring client’s programs so that brokers and insurers are held accountable for their commitments to clients while maintaining competitive price structures. Julie’s comprehensive working knowledge of broker operations of any size — where workflows and efficient delivery of service to customers are the priority — has enabled her to expand her field of interest into national program administration, as well as oversight on captive insurance operations for clients and brokerage requirements for service.

Zelia Drumm has managed both commercial lines divisions and large commercial client accounts for the past 20 years. Zelia is familiar with all phases of management of commercial insurance divisions and brokerages. She forms part of a team that specializes in problem solving and communication and servicing of complex commercial insurance programs. Her in-depth knowledge of insurance products and the insurance market throughout Canada and the USA, as well as her network of contacts throughout the industry, provide her with an exceptional platform to support client inquiry and account needs.

Zelia has also been responsible for establishing policies and procedures and assisting in compliance enforcement and licensing implementation across Canada. Coupled with this, she provides in-depth coverage analysis of both existing and new business portfolios while continuing the insurance account administration and supporting both claims administration and settlement strategies. Zelia’s expertise ranges across all lines of insurance, including personal lines, specialty professional liability and other related coverages.

Joining the team from Travelers Canada, Mike brings a fresh new perspective to CPG. Almost a decade of underwriting has given Mike an in-depth understanding of the inner workings of today’s insurance carriers and the insurance industry overall. Mike is especially adept at pinpointing exactly what clients need, and his experience with executive risk products allows him to decipher between the ones that are currently popular and those that truly benefit clients.

Mike has a strong background in Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Cyber Liability. This experience, coupled with his understanding of rapidly changing technology and the potential risks of storing data electronically, gives CPG clients an extra edge when it comes to protecting themselves from newly emerging risks as technology plays a larger role in their business risk strategy.

Giovanni Damiano

Giovanni is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience and a track record of success in execution. He has experience in underwriting, claims, sales & marketing, operations, and administration. He spent over 28 years on the insurance carrier side of the business including 17 years in senior management. He balances a strategic orientation with a bias for action. He has built high performing and highly engaged teams, managed change, and been a project lead on many significant and successful initiatives. Giovanni is fluently bilingual (English and French) and also speaks Italian.

Giovanni is a graduate of Concordia University where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration degree, also in Finance. He is a Certified Sales & Negotiation Trainer (Consultative Sales & Negotiations) and has dedicated over 5,000 hours to delivering sales and negotiation training to colleagues and independent brokers across Canada.

Giovanni's tenure at Chubb Insurance included Canada wide responsibilities for Sales & Marketing as well as Claims, where he was responsible for a team of 70+ staff , managing an activity of over 15,000 claims per year, an active inventory of over 4,000 claims, and over $700,000,000 in outstanding loss and expense reserves.  In his marketing role, Giovanni expanded Chubb's distribution network from 250 brokers to over 2,500.  A senior Vice President since 2003, he left Chubb as the longest tenured senior executive in Canada.

Giovanni's approach to business is simple; deliver unmatched customer care.  His experience has taught him how to communicate with customers.  Where customer engagement, communication and execution are priorities, he provides the guidance that our customers need.

Marc has spent over 25 years within the insurance industry. First as an underwriter, he had the unique ability to understand the motives and goals of insurance companies from a senior leadership perspective. He understands what drives insurers and is able to draw from this experience to negotiate from a position of strength for our clients. Later as a risk manager, Marc was the CEO of a self-insurance vehicle created by a hard-to-insure group. This experience taught him the importance of operational effectiveness as the foundation for any self-insurance structure.

Marc has in-depth knowledge of the vagaries of claims-made insurance products, such as Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Professional Liability or Abuse insurances. His expertise in Directors & Officers Liability insurance enables him to counsel senior leaders as to the strategy for the purchase of this key insurance product for any corporation.

Randy is an insurance specialist with over 30 years of experience in (primarily) corporate risk mitigation and contract planning.  He has spent the majority of his long tenured career working with contractors and other large corporate clients fine tuning their insurance contracts to keep pace with the ever changing demands of their industries and company adjustments due to growth, diversification and change of strategy.  One of Randy’s top priorities is to ensure his clients are protected through all company life cycles without risk to operations.

Randy provides diverse insurance claims, sales and management experience with particular focus on the insurance contracting, construction and manufacturing segments.  Randy is highly skilled in contract and policy analysis, with particular emphasis on creating unique Certificate programs and management and perpetuation of such to ensure external fail-safe contractual obligation combined with internal day-to-day ease of implementation. Thorough and detail-oriented, Randy is able to analyze, create, reorganize and oversee a program to mitigate litigious exposure while systematizing client operations.  Randy streamlines processes and procedures to optimize program efficiencies and productivity.

Kim Bourdeau

Taking on the challenge of dual roles within the entrepreneurial environment of CPG as both Office Manager and Associate Manager, Kim lends her skills and customer service expertise to our entire team.

As Office Manager, Kim oversees the daily operations of PACE including the management of staff, executive reporting and budgeting. In her role as Associate Manager, Kim supports our services team providing Associate and client relationship management.

With an energetic approach, Kim is a true team player who treats every day as a learning experience. Her attention to detail, positive outlook and critical thinking and communication skills make her a highly valued addition to the PACE team.

Lisa brings to CPG 15 years experience as a Financial Analyst for the automotive industry and Manager of Administration for an environmental consulting firm. She is an expert in investigating how management systems work within a company. Lisa possesses a high level of project management capability, which enables her to couple her systems analysis with a practical approach to improving reporting and overall business efficiency.

Lisa’s previously worked as Global Project Coordinator implementing a new sustainable development performance management reporting system. She worked with the internal team, training staff on the new software, created procedures, and ensured the system functioned properly with optimal user functionality.
