With over 25 years in the insurance industry working in brokerages, as well as with carriers, Lennie has honed this expertise to develop innovative, pro-active approaches to designing and implementing risk management programs for his clients. He helps his clients reduce administrative burdens and costs, and transforms the way his clients view their total cost of risk.

Lennie has extensive experience from working with international firms Aon and Willis managing various aspects of their construction teams. In his eight years with Aon and their predecessor firms, Lennie worked with the Wrap-Up team in Detroit and ran the construction marketing practice in Minneapolis before becoming a full time producer. He qualified for Aon’s Exceptional Producer Program in two of his last five years with the company. While with Willis, Lennie built an exceptional book of clients, including several of the largest international construction firms in the USA, Canada and Europe. He qualified for Willis’ Exceptional Producer Group four times; finishing in the top 50, three of the last five years he was with the firm.

Lennie also served several years with Wausau Insurance as a Senior Casualty Underwriter. His responsibilities included analyzing and designing service and pricing programs for accounts with premiums in excess of $250,000 or large deductible, as well as the design and implementation of claims and collateral needs.

Through the use of his unique experiences, Lennie is able to review Liability Insurance, Wrap-Ups, Sub-Contractor Default Insurance, Environmental, Professional Liability and broker fees to ensure they meet both the client’s current activities, as well as their long-term objectives.

Lennie holds a Degree in Insurance from Olivet College and is a Licensed Insurance Counsellor in Michigan, with reciprocals in many other states. He has completed IIA Series 21, 22, & 23 and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) 54 and 56. He is an associate member of the Detroit RIMS society and The Lansing Chapter of CFMA, as well as the AGC.

Carrie Stein

Carrie Stein

Carrie Stein is a licensed attorney with 19 years experience specializing in Estate Planning, Business Organization, Employment Law and General Litigation.  Since joining CPG, Carrie remains licensed in Michigan and Indiana.  In addition to her legal credentials, Carrie is a licensed Life, Health and Annuity insurance agent and Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC), and she has passed the Certified Financial Planner Exam and is pursuing a CFP designation.  Carrie graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts and the University of Toledo
College of Law with a Juris Doctorate. 

With her legal background, Carrie provides a unique approach and perspective to CPG clients, paying particular attention to detail regarding policy and document review, liability, indemnity and insurance application.  Carrie is able to read and review policies, contracts and agreements to identify and/or ensure there are no loopholes or deficiencies for her clients, and make the suggested changes as required.

Additionally, Carrie provides broker management, document compliance and oversight for her clients.  She also works to decrease client risk and exposure through correct process and proper coverages.  Carrie negotiates policy deductibles, ensures premium accuracy, and provides property management consulting.  Documents Carrie reviews in regards to insurance include: Joint Venture Agreements, Limited Liability Agreements, Development Manager Agreements,
General Contractor Agreements, various Consultant Agreements, Loan Documents, Loss Summaries, Purchase Sale Agreements, Declarations of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, Property Owners Association Document, Insurance policies and certificates.

Cathy is a Coverage Analyst / Client Advocate with CPG USA and has 25 + years of experience in the insurance industry.

She began her insurance career as a policy typist and assistant underwriter for a local Managing General Agent in Michigan. In 1986 she joined Aon Risk Services as an Assistant Account Relationship Specialist to several Account Executives on small to medium commercial accounts. Cathy accepted a position at Willis of Michigan in 2003 as a Client Manager where she serviced and managed both medium and large construction accounts for 10 years. Aon Risk Services and the Willis Group are among the leading global insurance brokers in the industry.

Cathy continues to update her knowledge of the insurance business by taking continuing education classes to maintain her Property & Casualty Insurance License as well as her CISR designation.

Natalie Diffin

Natalie has over 20 years of insurance experience that includes commercials lines, personal lines and corporate training. The majority of her career has been spent in commercial lines at Aon Risk Solutions. Over the years, Natalie’s responsibilities ranged from client services, to insurance marketing with particular expertise in coverage, program analysis and placement of multi-line insurance coverage. She has worked on accounts of all sizes from Middle Market Commercial Accounts to Risk Management Accounts.

Natalie graduated from Central Michigan University with highest honors. She is a licensed Property and Casualty agent, holds a Certified Insurance Counselor designation, and is currently working towards her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.

Mary Ellen Rudzinski

Mary Ellen is a Certified Insurance Counselor designate and has amassed over 40 years of insurance knowledge and technical experience of the insurance industry. After joining the insurance industry as a brokerage receptionist, Mary Ellen quickly joined the ranks at Aon Risk Services, a leading global broker, as an Account Assistant on small to medium commercial accounts. As her understanding and capability grew she left Aon for Willis of Michigan where she managed medium to large accounts as well as spearheading compliance enforcement.

Mary Ellen now lends her extensive knowledge to the CPG team and its clientele reviewing various insurance related documents including proposals, policies and Certificates of Insurance.  She is involved in the creation of documents for client presentation such as coverage comparison and Executive Risk summaries.

Glen Steele

Glen began his insurance career in 2013 as a Michigan resident producer in the Life, and Accident & Health major lines with a local Michigan agency of a national life and casualty insurance company. He comes from an engineering background, with 14+ years of experience as a Chemical Engineer, working on energy conservation engineering construction projects for clients including the Big Three auto makers, and many other high energy-consumption manufacturing industry clients. Glen is also a Certificated Commercial Pilot, an avid photographer, and an amateur astronomer.

Glen graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry. He is a licensed Michigan resident producer in the Life, Accident & Health, and Property & Casualty major lines. Glen continues to update his knowledge of the insurance business by taking continuing education classes to maintain his Life, Accident & Health, and Property & Casualty Insurance License.
